AWARDS CEREMONY TEXTILE PRINT DESIGN CONTEST 2019

The Final Round and Awards Ceremony of “Textile Print Design Contest 2019”, took place on November 15, 2019 at RMIT university, has been happening wonderfully with 14 finalist presentations.

Ever since the contest began three months ago, the committee had received enthusiastic participation from all the applicants, showing your wonderful work. After the elimination round, the Judges had chosen 14 most outstanding submissions into the final round. Candidate’s submissions had been printed onto fabrics and produced into real garments by our committee, in the hope that candidates could be provided with more insights into the textile printing and designing industry.

Candidates had selected styles of clothing and fabrics which they thought to be suitable for their prints, and they gave a quick presentation to the judges in the Final Round.

After the Final Round, we had the Awards Ceremony and announced the winners of this year’s Contest. “Sen Vietnam” by Tran Hong Thuy (172) has won the Grand Prize with the highest score given by the Judges.

We would like to thank all the candidates for all of their beautiful work and contribution, as well as spending their time and effort which helped build up towards the contest’s success. We want to say thank you to RMIT, for not only providing us the venue for the ceremony, but also for giving us much support and preparation.

We hope to see you all at next year’s contest.
